Spring Break

This week has been very busy with doctor appointments. Monday I went to the dentist and since the last time I was there (last March before I was pregant) I now have several cavities! So, I have to get them filled in April when I'm off for "Good Monday."

The girls had their 4 month check up and shots. They did great with their shots, I had a bottle ready for them to take thier mind off the pain when it was over- worked great!

Here are their stats:

Hallie Elizabeth at 4 Months
Weight: 14.1 lbs. 50-75% Percentile
Height: 24 3/4" 75% Percentile
Head Circumference 42 cm 25-50% Percentile
2 Month Check up
Weight: 11.6 lbs 75% Percentile
Height 21 1/4" 75% Percentile
Head Circumference 40cm 75% Percentile
Birth
Weight: 7.5 lbs
Height: 20"
Head Circumference 35cm
Hallie started rolling over when she was a little over 1 month old and started taking her feet and pushing herself up to a standing position in the swing at almost 2 months and she was snaped in-so the swing I bought did not last long!
At their 2 week vist the nurse said Hallie had the kick of a 2 month.
We are working on grasping and getting her to hold her head stright- she likes to lean it to the side. She tries to sit up, she takes her head when laying on her back and lefts it up trying. She has started teething and I can't find anything that helps. They both won't take a pasifier.

Mettie Anne started rolling over about two weeks after Hallie. She loves to have her feet played with and won't keep any socks or shoes on! Her colic is better and she giggles a lot now! She is a totally different baby now, a happy one. She would cry for hour, screaming. She loves her John Deere book and I finally found another one on Amazon.com for Hallie. She is good at holding her head up and she is also trying to seat up when laying down. She's working on grasping too. She loves her swing now, I found a travel swing that is like a chair and she can sit up in it and see whats going on and Hallie has one too and she can't stand up in this one!
They both started rice ceral 2 times a day now. I don't know if they are getting more on them than in their tummies! They seem to enjoy it.
I can't wait till RSV season is over, so I can get them out of the house. We have been going outside on warm days getting fresh air and letting them observe nature.
They are starting to grow out of size 2 diapers and the ones that they wear- Pampers Swaddlers does not make a 3- well, they do, but you have to buy them in a 2-3 box. So, I'm going to have to find another diaper that will abosorb the moisture and not give them diaper rash.
