Today is the four week mark. Yesterday was their due date. Hallie and Mettie Anne are doing great. Can't wait for RSV season to be over so we can take them out of the house, the only trips they are allowed to go on are those to the doctor.
Everyone thinks that Hallie looks just like me when I was a babie and she looks like dad also. Mettie Anne looks like Dana a little bit and a little like me.
They love to have thier hands free. I tried to swaddle them and they fought to free their hands. They have colic and they are fussy at night.
I've been working on their Christmas photos, I've got a good one of Hallie and still working on Mettie Anne's, she's a firecraker! Hallie is real laid back and quiet, and Mettie Anne is my screamer and I believe she's going to be a drama queen. Mettie Anne is the one who rolled in my tummy and she kicked the things off my tummy during all my biophysical test, which made me have to spend more time on my back in PAIN!
I did not think I would miss being pregnant, but I do, I don't miss the test I had to have every 8 hours my last weeks in the hospital and in the obgyn's office, or the morning sickness. I believe we are going to try for one more in 1 to 2 years. Also, in the next year or so we need to get a mini-van. Hopefully Dana will be finished with his PhD. by then. Dana is taking his comps in Jan- so everyone pray for him. Also, he has to present at a conf. in Jan in New Orleans.
The time is passing by so fast while I'm out, I don't look forward to going back to work in Jan. but I have to. But I do like my job, but I want to raise my babies also. At least I have the summer and holidays off.
